EMERGENCY FIRST AID & WITH CPR

 

Course Objectives:

After completion of the course participants will: -

·         Know of the Principles of the Red Cross & Red Crescent Movement

·         Know the Principles and Practice of First Aid.

·         Be able to approach and manage an injured or an unconscious casualty with confidence.

·         Impart a sense of confidence to others.

Eligibility: Any literate person above the age of 18 years                        

Condition:     100% attendance

Trainer: PRCS certified First Aid Trainer except Demonstrator/CBFA Trainer

Examination: Non-Examination Course.

Certificate:  Issued by PRCS PHQ, valid for 2 years

Syllabus:

·         Introduction to RC/RC Movement

·         Introduction to First Aid

·         Emergency Resuscitation

·         Wounds & Bleeding

·         Fever, Burns and Electrical Injuries

·         Bone, Joint and Muscle Injuries

·         Evacuation and Transportation

·         Dressing, Bandages, Splints and their Applications.

Requirement:

Our Standard First Aid Training complements adult learning styles with on hand practice and real life scenarios. Our take away materials help the employees to retain skills and serve as reference tools in an emergency. This comprehensive course meets training guidelines for the first aid established by the Occupational Health and Safety

• Training facilities required for the course will be provided by your Organization like white board, ,markers ,pens, writing pads, audio visuals aids etc if training is conducted at your office
•  Refreshments and lunch will be arranged by your organization(if Required)
•  Number of participant:  Minimum 10 Maximum 30 in one group(kindly note if the group is less than 10,we will charge for 10)

• Pick and drop facilities for the trainers will be provided by your organization if the training is conducted at your premises.
• If the training is conducted at outstations (including public holidays or beyond official working hours)  all the logistic expenses of proper transportation, food ,loading and boarding of the two trainers along with their honorarium Rs 4,500/- per day (including the travelling days )will be arranged by your organization.
• We would appreciate if the training hall is big enough for the practical demonstration
• All the participants are requested to bring their photograph and copy of CNIC for registration for certification courses
• Pass Certificate will be given within 3 months to all the successful participants after the clearance of all the dues
• No certificate will be given to any participant who fails to appear in the examination or couldn’t clear the examination or is absent for a complete day.
• Validity of the certificates is for two years only ,after this period one can apply for refresher training within 6 months
• Orientation session is a non certification course and it will be of four hour session with no limit on number of participants
• Participants applying for refresher training may kindly send their valid pass certificate one week prior to the training
• Courses with CPR are examination course and will receive PASS certificates and the rest of the courses will receive Participation Course.

MARITIME TRAINING INSTITUTE

 we have regular course on First Aid/Medical First Aid both commencing on every Monday at our premises 

which is in compliance with STCW and IMO Model course for seafarers 

FIRST AID - Every Monday - 2 days duration - Fee Rs.1500

Medical First Aid- Every Monday 3 days duration Fee Rs.2100

However we do have above courses customized for industries/organisation and be arranged at their own premises as well
